About the Role

BEC Arabia is looking for a highly organized and proactive Procurement Coordinator to join our Procurement team in Riyadh. As a key member of the department, you will play a vital role in managing the procurement lifecycle, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, equipment, and services for our large-scale construction and infrastructure projects. This position is instrumental in supporting BEC Arabia’s commitment to delivering world-class projects aligned with Saudi Vision 2030.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with project managers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure procurement activities align with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. You will also be responsible for maintaining compliance with Saudi Labor Law, GOSI, and other regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local and international suppliers to ensure reliable and cost-effective procurement.
  • Monitor procurement schedules to align with project timelines and avoid delays in material or service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi Labor Law, GOSI, and other applicable regulations in all procurement activities.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders, RFQs (Request for Quotations), and RFPs (Request for Proposals) in line with company policies.
  • Evaluate supplier bids and proposals to ensure alignment with technical specifications, quality standards, and budgetary constraints.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to identify procurement needs and priorities.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including contracts, invoices, and delivery schedules.
  • Resolve any procurement-related issues, such as delivery delays or quality discrepancies, in a timely manner.
  • Analyze market trends and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Support the implementation of digital procurement tools and systems to enhance efficiency and transparency.
  • Report on procurement performance metrics and provide recommendations for process improvements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the construction or engineering industry.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and procurement software.
  • Strong knowledge of Saudi Labor Law, GOSI, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is a strong advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) or CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional).
  • Experience working on mega-projects or with government entities in Saudi Arabia.
  • Familiarity with ARAMCO Approved Vendor processes and standards.
  • Advanced knowledge of digital procurement tools and data analytics.
  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.

Working Conditions

  • This position is office-based in Riyadh, with occasional visits to project sites as required.
  • Standard working hours with potential for extended hours during critical project phases.
  • Minimal travel outside Riyadh, primarily within the Kingdom.
  • Collaborative work environment with a focus on meeting tight deadlines.
  • Compliance with all safety and regulatory standards, including PPE usage during site visits.
