Fit Out Project Director

About the Role

BEC Arabia is looking for a seasoned Fit Out Project Director to join our dynamic Project Management team in Riyadh. This role is pivotal in overseeing the successful delivery of high-end fit-out projects, including luxury commercial spaces, residential developments, and government mega-projects. As a key leader, you will manage multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with high-profile clients, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Reporting to the Head of Project Management, you will play a critical role in aligning project execution with BEC Arabia’s commitment to excellence and innovation. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, contractors, and consultants to ensure seamless project delivery while adhering to Saudi Building Code (SBC) and other regulatory requirements. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the Kingdom’s transformative Vision 2030 initiatives, including giga-projects and smart city developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of high-profile fit-out projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations and project objectives.
• Manage multidisciplinary project teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, to ensure seamless coordination and execution.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets using tools like Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Monitor project progress and performance, implementing corrective actions as needed to meet timelines and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Building Code (SBC), safety standards (ISO 45001, NEBOSH), and client-specific requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to address project challenges and ensure satisfaction.
• Oversee procurement processes, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and material approvals.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure all deliverables meet BEC Arabia’s standards of excellence.
• Drive sustainability initiatives by incorporating green building standards such as LEED and Mostadam into project execution.
• Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and clients, highlighting key milestones and risks.
• Mentor and develop junior project managers and team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in construction project management, with at least 5 years in fit-out projects.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, LEED AP, or NEBOSH.
• Proficiency in project management tools like Primavera P6, MS Project, and AutoCAD.
• Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Building Code (SBC) and local regulatory requirements.
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale fit-out projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Construction Management or Business Administration (MBA).
• Experience with giga-projects or smart city developments in the GCC region.
• Familiarity with BIM tools such as Revit and Navisworks.
• Knowledge of Mostadam and Estidama sustainability frameworks.
• Experience working with high-profile clients such as Saudi Aramco, NEOM, or Red Sea Global.

Working Conditions

• Based in Riyadh, with occasional travel to project sites across the Kingdom.
