Fit Out Project Manager

About the Role

BEC Arabia is looking for a highly skilled Fit Out Project Manager to oversee and deliver complex interior fit-out projects in Riyadh. As part of our Project Management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of high-profile commercial, residential, and government projects. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

You will manage day-to-day project activities, including planning, scheduling, procurement, and stakeholder communication, while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of interior fit-out projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives and client expectations.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources using tools such as Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
• Monitor project progress and performance, implementing corrective actions as needed to address delays or quality issues.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Building Code (SBC), safety standards (ISO 45001), and client-specific requirements.
• Develop detailed project plans, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.
• Oversee procurement activities, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and material approvals.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols.
• Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, risks, and solutions.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and alignment with project goals.
• Implement sustainability practices in line with Mostadam and LEED standards where applicable.
• Mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in interior fit-out projects.
• PMP certification or equivalent project management credential.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, AutoCAD, and MS Project.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Building Code (SBC) and relevant safety standards (ISO 45001, NEBOSH).
• Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Construction Management or a related field.
• Experience with luxury fit-out projects or high-end commercial interiors.
• Certification in LEED or Mostadam for sustainable construction practices.
• Familiarity with BIM tools such as Revit or Navisworks.
• Experience working on Saudi Vision 2030 giga-projects.

Working Conditions

• Based in Riyadh, with frequent visits to project sites.
• Combination of office and on-site work environments.
• Exposure to construction site conditions, requiring the use of PPE.
• Standard working hours with occasional extended hours to meet project deadlines.
• Regional travel may be required for client meetings or site inspections.
