About the Role
BEC Arabia is looking for a highly motivated Treasury Specialist to join our dynamic team in Riyadh. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in managing the company’s financial health, ensuring optimal liquidity, and supporting the execution of our large-scale construction and infrastructure projects across the GCC. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers and senior leadership, to provide strategic financial insights and ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations.
In this role, you will oversee cash flow management, banking relationships, and financial risk mitigation strategies. You will also be responsible for implementing best practices in treasury operations, ensuring alignment with BEC Arabia’s commitment to operational excellence and financial sustainability. Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily cash flow to ensure the company meets its financial obligations and maintains optimal liquidity.
- Develop and implement treasury policies and procedures in alignment with corporate financial strategies and compliance requirements.
- Monitor and forecast cash positions, ensuring sufficient funds are available for operational and project needs.
- Establish and maintain strong banking relationships to secure favorable terms for loans, credit facilities, and other financial instruments.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure accurate financial planning and timely allocation of funds for ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Analyze financial risks and develop mitigation strategies, including hedging and investment options.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi regulatory requirements, including GOSI, VAT, and Zakat filings.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, providing insights into cash flow, liquidity, and investment performance.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and ensuring adherence to financial standards and regulations.
- Utilize financial software tools to optimize treasury operations and reporting processes.
- Contribute to strategic financial planning, aligning treasury operations with BEC Arabia’s long-term business goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics from a recognized university.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in treasury management, financial planning, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CFA, CPA, or CTP is mandatory.
- Proficiency in financial management software such as SAP, Oracle Financials, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of cash flow management, financial risk assessment, and investment strategies.
- Knowledge of Saudi regulatory requirements, including GOSI, VAT, and Zakat compliance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration (MBA), or a related field.
- Experience working within the construction or engineering industry.
- Familiarity with Saudi Vision 2030 projects and their financial frameworks.
- Knowledge of green financing and sustainable investment practices.
- Advanced proficiency in treasury management systems (TMS).
Working Conditions
- Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
- Work Environment: Primarily office-based with occasional visits to project sites.
- Travel: Limited regional travel may be required to coordinate with banking partners and project teams.
- Work Hours: Standard full-time hours with flexibility during critical financial reporting periods.
- Climate: Riyadh’s climate is hot and arid; appropriate measures are in place for outdoor site visits.
