About the Role

BEC Arabia is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance - Administrative Officer to join our dynamic Finance team in Riyadh. This role is integral to ensuring the smooth operation of financial and administrative processes within the company, supporting both day-to-day activities and strategic objectives. As a key member of the Finance department, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to manage financial documentation, ensure compliance with Saudi regulations, and provide administrative support to enhance overall efficiency.

The Finance - Administrative Officer will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records, coordinating with external auditors, and ensuring compliance with Saudi Labor Law, GOSI, and other regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage financial documentation, including invoices, receipts, and expense reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure timely submission of financial reports and compliance with GOSI and other Saudi regulations.
  • Monitor and reconcile accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the Finance Manager in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi Labor Law, Saudization (Nitaqat) requirements, and other relevant regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee benefits, payroll, and deductions in collaboration with the HR department.
  • Develop and implement administrative processes to improve efficiency within the Finance department.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial data for bids, tenders, and project proposals.
  • Liaise with vendors, contractors, and clients to resolve financial discrepancies and ensure smooth transactions.
  • Oversee the procurement of office supplies and manage departmental budgets for administrative expenses.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial administration or a similar role, preferably in the construction or engineering industry.
  • Proficiency in financial software such as SAP, Oracle Financials, or QuickBooks.
  • Strong knowledge of Saudi Labor Law, GOSI, and Saudization (Nitaqat) requirements.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA.
  • Experience in financial management within construction, engineering, or infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and other quality management standards.
  • Knowledge of LEED, Mostadam, or other sustainability-related financial reporting.
  • Advanced skills in data analysis and financial modeling.

Working Conditions

  • This position is office-based at our Riyadh headquarters.
  • Standard working hours with occasional extended hours during peak financial reporting periods.
  • Minimal travel may be required to project sites or client offices within Saudi Arabia.
